The purpose of the booklet
There is a saying in China,” hold the Buddha’s leg for the urgent help”, maybe it is the purpose of this book,” consult the book for urgent help. “, it is not a book for you to learn Chinese but will be easy for you, the busy travelers, to get help in China by speaking Chinese in English.

Why comes this booklet?
When you, a foreigner, come to China for the first time, the headache problem you meet will be the language, so before your coming to China, you must have hunted in the bookstores to find a book which could supply you with some words and sentences, but questions are:

1. it is too complex
Some books want to tell you everything in China, so most of time you will be impatient to read.
2. it is too difficult to read
most of the books you found are used "pin ying", Chinese way to give each word its pronunciation, but is difficult for one who has not learned "pin ying" to read. Some of the sound you can hardly find in English.
3. it is too big and heavy
Most of the books are big and heavy, although they are good; it will be hard to take it with you anytime in China, so you'd like to put it in you hotel or in the tour car. They are the questions puzzled me for a long time, why not I write a book for you, a book easy, simple ,useful and portable. after years’ preparation, and with hundreds of foreigner’s help，finally comes this book, it will not tell you everything in China but just a useful booklet for you to deal with the days in China.
